Ammna Siddiqui graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2024 with a B.S. in Premedical and Health Studies and a minor in Health Psychology. She is currently pursuing her MS in Medical Sciences at Boston University, with expected graduation in May 2026.  During her time at MCPHS, she worked as a Research Assistant at Microbiotix Inc., where her research focused on investigating the type III secretion system (T3SS) in Pseudomonas aeruginosa, with an emphasis on resistance mechanisms to small-molecule inhibitors. Currently, Ammna works as a Lab Manager and Research Assistant in the Infectious Disease Department at Boston Children’s Hospital under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Farzan. In this role, she contributes to ongoing research initiatives and supports daily laboratory operations. At PEDICORD, she works under Dr. Erica Greenberg and Dr. Lilian Ebner where she completed her master’s thesis on examining the characteristics of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and chronic tic disorders (CTD) in youth that were seen at the clinic. She is also involved in supporting additional research projects within the program along with contributing to the development of Dr. Katz, a digital platform designed to improve mental health education and enhance patient care. Ammna is passionate about advancing medical research and plans to apply to medical school in May 2026.

Cecilia Tran is a graduate researcher currently pursuing her Master’s in Medical Sciences from Boston University. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2025, majoring in biology and minoring in psychology. She is in Boston to continue her studies before applying to medical school and hopes to write her thesis on pediatric trichotillomania while researching at MGH.
