Online Tic Treatment Study

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this research study is to compare two different online group treatments for tics: 1) a mindfulness-based program (Mindfulness-based Intervention for Tics or MBIT, for short), and 2) a psychoeducational and supportive therapy program (Tic Information and Coping Strategies or TICS, for short).
Eligibility: If you are 18 years of age or older, fluent in English, living in the US, and you have Tourette Syndrome or Persistent Tic Disorder, you may be eligible to participate in this randomized controlled trial.
Length of the study: 8 week long intervention and follow up assessments

Payment: Total of $200 for completion of study
