Susan Sprich, Ph.D.

Dr. Sprich is the Director of the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. She is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School. Her primary research interests are cognitive-behavioral treatment of ADHD in adults and adolescents, and cognitive-behavioral treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Spectrum disorders in children, adolescents in adults. She is currently involved in research projects targeting BDD in adults, OCD in children and adolescents and ADHD in adolescents. Clinically, she treats adults with anxiety, ADHD, mood and Obsessive-Compulsive Spectrum disorders. She also teaches seminars and does supervision with the interns and residents at MGH.

About Our Program

The Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Related Disorders Program at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School is located in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded by Michael Jenike, M.D., and now under the leadership of Sabine Wilhelm, Ph.D., our program strives to deliver evidence-based treatment to patients in need while simultaneously conducting research to advance our knowledge of the causes, consequences, and treatments of OCD, BDD, Tics, Hoarding, Hair Pulling and Skin Picking, and ORS.
