Julia Carrellas graduated from Brown University with a B.A in Political Science. For her senior thesis, she studied the intersection of psychology and presidential decision-making and explored whether or not presidents with military backgrounds were more or less likely to sign nuclear arms treaties. Prior to MGH, she worked at McKinsey & Company working with startups and private companies on growth strategies across a variety of sectors including digital health. Julia is now transitioning her career to more clinical work from the business side and hopes to pursue a career in nursing or medicine.
