Jasmine Williams is a 2022 graduate of the University of Maryland. While there she pursued a
Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Human Development. She worked as a RA
at the Maryland Psychotherapy Clinic and Research Lab (MPCRL) with Dr. Clara Hill where she
worked on an independent study investigating the usage of open and closed questions during
therapy. During the Summer of 2020, Jasmine was selected as a BSOS SRI research scholar by
Assistant Dean Dr. Kim Kickerson. She also worked as an RA at UMD’s Cognition and
Development Lab under Dr. Richard Prather and Dr. Hailey Gibbs. Her research interests include
depression interventions, anxiety and depression comorbidity, and resilience. Jasmine is
extremely excited to be working at CORD, and wants to become a clinical psychologist when
she’s done!
