Body-Focused Repetitive Behavior Precision Medicine Initiative
PI: Nancy Keuthen, Ph.D.
The purpose of this study is to identify the subtypes of Hair Pulling Disorder and Skin Picking Disorder
that are most common among individuals diagnosed with these disorders. In particular, we are interested
in identifying the neural, neurocognitive, genetic, behavioral, and environmental targets of these
disorders. For this study, we are recruiting adults (18-65 years of age) with Hair Pulling Disorder and/or
Skin Picking disorder. Your participation would include two study visits. These visits would involve
interviews, computerized tasks, a blood draw, and MRI scans. Participants will receive up to $200 for
their time. Parking costs will also be reimbursed.
